Amanda E. Sidwell is a graduate of Boston University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Film and Television Production before returning to her native Los Angeles. She has over 10 years of experience in entertainment and television, with broad knowledge of all phases of production, specializing in scripted content development, research and story analysis, and has recently moved back into her first passion, developing and producing short films.

She currently works as a development coordinator for Red Bull Media House and 2026 TV, while writing regularly about the US television industry’s news of the day.

In her spare time, Amanda develops creative projects, takes orders from her cat butler Salinger, and performs as a storyteller around Los Angeles.
